00:00You talked a bit about Doge. Elon Musk is currently a quote special government
00:04employee who also owns companies that have billions of dollars in federal
00:08contracts. You said earlier this week that he has abided by all applicable
00:12federal laws but what steps is the Trump administration taking to address that
00:16conflict of interest? The president was already asked and answered this question
00:20this week and he said if Elon Musk comes across a conflict of interest with the
00:24contracts and the funding that Doge is overseeing then Elon will excuse
00:28himself from those contracts. President Trump was an elected with a mandate from
00:32the American people to make this government more efficient. He campaigned
00:36across this country with Elon Musk vowing that Elon was going to head up
00:40the Department of Government Efficiency and the two of them with a great team
00:44around them were going to look at the receipts of this federal government and
00:48ensure it's accountable to American taxpayers. That's all that is happening
00:51here and for Democrat officials to incite violence and encourage Americans
00:56to take to the streets is incredibly alarming and they should be held
01:00accountable for that rhetoric. It sounds like something that they are most
01:02concerned about is Doge engineers with access to Treasury systems. Can you
01:07clarify do the Doge engineers have read-only access in these systems so
01:12they are not allowed to write new code? They are not.
