Meghan Markle surprises teen who lost home in LA fires

00:00I was just told that something arrived that I had been waiting for.

00:04Oh my god.

00:08About two or three weeks ago, when my husband and I were in Altadena,

00:12we went to a community where all the homes were left in ashes.

00:19This mom had found a couple things, and as I was talking to her,

00:23I turned and looked, and I saw this young woman, and I said,

00:27Oh my gosh, how old are you? She's 15. She lives there.

00:30And her mom shared something with me and said that when they came back

00:35to see their house for the first time, which was as we were meeting them,

00:38that all that she'd been looking for in her home was the T-shirt

00:44from the Billie Eilish concert that she had just gone to

00:47that she left in the washing machine or the dryer.

00:50And of course, they now see their home in the washing machine,

00:53the dryer, or ash. They're not there anymore.

00:55And so I said, Well, I don't know Billie Eilish, but I'm going to figure out

00:57how to get you this shirt. So I thought of everybody that I knew,

01:00and I made a voice note, and I was like, Please, can someone

01:03get this voice note to Billie Eilish? Here's what I'm asking.

01:06You guys, I don't even know what all of this stuff means,

01:09but it's signed for her.

01:12Is that a thing, a lunchbox thing? I don't know.

01:15This is when I feel really old.

01:16Huge thank you, Billie Eilish. This is going to mean so much to her,

01:19and honestly, to Adam Levine and Behati.
