00:00Accidents in Marilake Highway have been raised again in the hearings of the Senators.

00:05The Pambansang Polisyan claimed that even if there are police in the area,

00:10there are still riders who do not want to stop.

00:20In the hearings of the Senate Committee on Public Order,

00:23several Senators raised the problem in Marilake Highway where there were several accidents

00:28due to the riders who do not want to stop.

00:31Some Senators said that the implementation of the law in the area is weak,

00:36but when the PNP asked, they are already addressing the problem.

00:59Even the DPWH for the enhancement of engineering of the area,

01:05whether we have to put a ramble strip or CCTV.

01:10But the PNP claimed that even if there are police in the area,

01:14sometimes, the riders are still not obedient.

01:18Our riders are really fast.

01:21When they see the checkpoint or our policemen, they will slow down.

01:26In spite of this, Senator Bato de la Rosa said,

01:37Senator JV Ejercito also mentioned the benefits of Marilake for the local economy.
