Debut album by bluegrass band The McLain Family Band formed in 1968 in Hindman, Kentucky, and sequently relocated to Berea, Kentucky in 1970 after their Hindman home burned. The Initial four members of the McLain Family Band were father Raymond McLain and his three children Winslow, Alice, and Ruth. Over the years, band membership expanded including many other members of the family.
