00:00This weekend in Quezon City, the United Dance Organization or UDO Philippines Street Dance Championships 2025

00:09served as national qualifiers for the UDO Asia-Pacific and UDO World Championships 2025.

00:17Let's take a look at what happened on the hot dance floor, here in the memory of our teammate, Daryl Oclares.

00:26Mapabreaking, locking, popping, or hip-hop.

00:32The street dancing was a live performance at the national qualifiers of the United Dance Organization or UDO Philippines in Mobhub, Quezon City this weekend.

00:44More than 200 people from different parts of the country gathered

00:49to get a chance to represent the Philippines in the prestigious UDO Asia-Pacific 2025 that will be held in Thailand from April 4 to 6

01:00and the UDO World Championship 2025 that will be held in the United Kingdom from August 13 to 17.

01:08In the presence of PDV Sports, the dance sport coach, and one of the judges, Melvin Jansen Ang,

01:15he was amazed at the quality of the dancers he witnessed in the two-day competition.

01:22Of course, Filipinos are known for their dancing skills, right?

01:26And I'm happy because I'm judging in those countries too.

01:31So whenever I look at our Filipinos, when they dance, they would capture even the audience of other countries.

01:40So the passion, the heart, the blood of Filipinos when it comes to dancing is different.

01:46Coach Melvin also asked for support from various sectors for their important competitions this year.

01:56I'm really hoping that if we could find support to sponsors, to LGUs, and to our government,

02:04that we can use this platform and make Filipinos proud.

02:10The National Team Breaking members, Yair Lord Ailivim, B-Boy Dudut Gabrel, and Arnold B-Boy Kilke Carvalho,

02:21were also among the qualified qualifiers, especially the next generation of dance sport athletes.

02:26What I learned is that we should learn to listen and love what we're doing.

02:30Just continue doing what you're doing.

02:32It's better for you to go to breaking than to go to other...

02:36I mean, it's better for you to go to the other side of life.

02:39Instead of doing drugs, instead of doing bad things, start breaking.

02:44A lot of good things will happen. Let's teach our mentors.

02:48UNEO National Qualifiers is on its way to find the best dance sport athletes of the country

02:54who will prepare and give pride to the Philippines at the International Stage.
