00:00Trucks were preparing to pass through the Rafah border crossing on Sunday morning after
00:06it opened for the first time since Israel captured it nine months ago.
00:11On Saturday, 34 children and three adults were medevacked from the Gaza Strip through
00:17the Rafah crossing to hospitals in Egypt.
00:19The World Health Organization says many injured and sick people need to be urgently medevacked
00:25and has called for medical corridors out of Gaza to get them out.
00:32WHO estimates that between 12,000 and 14,000 critical patients need to be medevacked outside
00:41Gaza.
00:42So, this is just the start.
00:44What we need is medical corridors now outside Gaza.
00:49The WHO expressed its gratitude to the government of Egypt for their continued support and for
00:54providing specialized care to Gazan patients.
