00:00Hi, we're the cast of The Night Agent, and we're going to catch you up on season one.
00:03Previously on The Night Agent.
00:08Season one, episode one, opens with FBI agent Peter Sutherland saving lives in a
00:13bomb attack on the D.C. Metro. Hey, you okay? I got you. Come on, let's go.
00:23A year later, he's assigned to the night action desk and fending off conspiracy theorists who
00:27believe he was secretly behind the attack. The Rome Tome is a bunch of conspiracy theory
00:32trolls spreading lies. It's not enough that I believe in you, that the president knows you
00:36were a hero on the Metro that night, not some deep state accomplice. Rose Larkin is a tech CEO
00:41who moved back in with her aunt and uncle after filing her cybersecurity company for bankruptcy.
00:45When the assassins show up, Rose gets caught in the crosshairs and is ordered to call the
00:49night agent desk for help. Yes, go ahead. Night action. They told me to tell you that.
00:58Peter answers the call and helps Rose survive the attack, but her aunt and uncle,
01:03who they later learn are retired counterintelligence agents. Sadly, they don't make it.
01:09Rose, now being a witness, Peter is asked with protecting her with his life.
01:13Peter reports to the White House Chief of Staff, Diane Farr, and FBI Deputy Director,
01:18Jamie Hawkins. His loyalties are split. Both want to interrogate Rose,
01:22but she doesn't trust either of them. So her lips are sealed.

01:30Two assassins, married couple Dale and Ellen, are tasked with eliminating Rose and chase

04:21He also becomes Rose's most wanted and the duo kiss on a boat.
04:25Maddie's security detail hunt down the art teacher's colleagues and identify
04:29the kidnapper as a man named Mateo.
04:31The same man who I fought in the alleyway and bombed the Metro.
04:34Who's holding Maddie captive until her father admits guilt for the Metro bombing.

04:41While Redfield debates how to respond to the Maddie's ransom demand,
04:45Farr reveals that Maddie was plotting to expose her father by releasing a damning

05:11Peter is arrested by Arrington and monks who are searching for Maddie and Peter convinces
05:16them to let him help their investigation because he suspects there'll be a second
05:20devastating attack against Zadar.
05:22Maddie leaves clues to her whereabouts in a ransom video,
05:25helping Peter and Secret Service to find her.
05:28Forced to train.
05:29That's the first time.

05:38Just when they find Maddie and have her kidnap her in handcuffs,
05:41Ellen appears with a sniper rifle and starts shooting.

05:47Killing monks and injuring Maddie.
05:48Rose sneaks up on Ellen and pushes her from her porch.
05:58Farr conspires with the vice president Redfield to have Zadar killed
06:03and Redfield goes behind Farr's back to add to the current president to the hit list.
06:07Rose and Peter confront Farr, demanding she call off the assassination of Zadar
06:11and the president or else they'll expose her connection to the Campbells' murder to the press.
06:15Stop lying.
06:16We know everything.
06:18That you, Redfield and Wick were behind the Metro bombing and that all three of you
06:21are planning on covering up your involvement by killing Zadar and the president at Camp David.

06:32They rush to Camp David where they find two bombs on the property
06:35and attempt to evacuate the president while fighting rogue Secret Service agents.
06:39Peter and Agent Arrington save Maddie and the president in the nick of time,
06:43barely avoiding the bombs.
06:49The vice president is arrested.
06:51Arrington gets a promotion to the president's security detail.
