00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. promised to continue to create more opportunities for Filipinos.

00:06The President announced his visit to the first largest job fair this year.

00:11And according to the executive board, our workers will do even better.

00:21Joshua, the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. brought the work closer to the Filipinos.

00:29Careercon 2025 is being held today, one of the largest job fairs this year.

00:36It was hosted by the first executive.

00:39The Department of Labor and Employment is responsible for 5,000 jobs.

00:45And another one is the new company.

00:48There are more than 150 employers in different industries.

00:54His goal is to bring opportunities and jobs closer to the Filipinos

00:59and to reduce the number of Filipinos who have no source of income.

01:05The number of non-employed Filipinos is decreasing.

01:10But we are not done yet.

01:13Whatever job they hold, it should be called a quality job.

01:20There is a potential to be promoted.

01:25Most of the jobs Joshua holds are in the information and technology, hotel and restaurant, and healthcare industry.

01:34Not only here in the Philippines, but also in other countries.

01:37Careercon 2025 will provide opportunities not only for entry-level jobs, but also for those in senior roles.

01:47The DOLE hopes that many former FOGO workers will go,

01:52especially those who have a higher salary and a higher position in the job fair.

01:59Aside from that, Joshua is also hosting an event, the Career Coaching and Masterclass,

02:05which will improve the skills of workers who will be given free tests.

02:30Joshua is one of 18,000 who registered for the job fair.
