00:00Dan, looking at Bristol City squad and Joe Williams coming out and really backing the
00:07Robins to reach those play-off places. Now they've made huge headway with a huge win
00:12against Blackburn Rovers at home. We've mentioned a number of times the inconsistent performances.
00:18As soon as it starts to click, though, it seems like they are going to be one of those
00:22sides in the Championship really competing for a play-off place. He's obviously joined
00:27the club, Joe Williams, from Wigan in 2020. Been in and out to start and then over 30
00:34appearances for the last two seasons, 15 already this campaign. He looks like a real Robin
00:40through and through at this point in his career. If anyone is to back the side, he's certainly
00:46going to have a big say. He's clearly appreciated in the Robins dressing room and by the fans
00:52as well. This is a big boost, this is a big comment to make. Do you feel Bristol City
00:57can back it up? What's it going to take for them to ensure they're in the play-offs?
01:03Because the race is so tight. Yes, they can have good home form, but they need to make
01:07sure they're picking results up on the road as well.
01:10Yes, that's certainly it. They have given away a lot of points away from home on the
01:14road so far this season, which has been a bit of a downfall. That's contributed to the
01:19lack of consistency they've had. But if they can eradicate some of those errors and keep
01:24that concentration later on into games, then there's no reason why they can't be in amongst
01:28it come the end of the season, because they're just beating a play-off rival in Blackburn
01:31Rovers there. Clearly, there's confidence within the Bristol City camp as demonstrated
01:39there by Joe Williams. Obviously, he's just come back from injury. For him to make a comment
01:43like that after beating a play-off rival, it just shows where they're at as a club and
01:48as a team at the moment. Liam Manning has certainly stirred up quite the feeling inside
01:53of the club, something they've not had for some time. Obviously, they haven't been in
01:57the play-offs since the 2008-07-08 season. They got to Wembley that time. They were beaten
02:02in the final by Hull City, who went up. And since then, it's just been an existence really
02:09for Bristol City. They've not really got themselves anywhere near since. They've had, obviously,
02:15the odd good result, the odd good moment as a club, but it's been far too long without
02:19really challenging to get up to the Premier League for a club who certainly have the ambition
02:25and the resources to challenge up there. It's been a really barren period in their history,
02:31but now they're there, or they're thereabouts at least. Obviously, they're not there yet.
02:35But they've got the squad. They've got the manager. They have the confidence. Now it's
02:41just a case of keeping it all together, keeping those runs going and continuing to play like
02:48they play. If they can play like they played against Blackburn, against other clubs for
02:52the rest of this season, there's absolutely no reason as to why they can't be at least
02:57one of the challengers come the end of the season.
