00:00This is the 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan.
00:03♪♪
00:09Tiguan has been one of the most popular SUVs from Volkswagen,
00:13and for 2025, they've updated it
00:16and turned it into, surprisingly, a luxury car.
00:20Massaging seats are available.
00:22Head-up display is available.
00:23All-new interior that's streamlined,
00:26simplified, much more advanced technology.
00:29The downside is it used to have a third row.
00:32There is no longer a third-row option.
00:34The upside is it's bigger
00:35and has more interior space for 2025.
00:39The Volkswagen Tiguan uses the unified design language
00:42that we see on many of Volkswagen's electric vehicles,
00:45like the ID.4 and the ID.Buzz,
00:47with a lighted badge, a light bar across the front,
00:50and a light bar across the rear.
00:53New taillights, new headlights, new lower fascia grille,
00:57new diffuser on the rear end,
00:59all add up to a really fresh, modern look on the Tiguan.
01:03Also new for 2025 is a four-cylinder turbo engine
01:08that generates 201 horsepower.
01:10That's up from 184 in the prior model,
01:13so a lot more power under the hood,
01:15and it should be a lot of fun to drive
01:16when it comes to North America later in 2025.
01:22The completely redesigned interior features
01:25beautiful materials.
01:26We're in the R-line, which is the top-of-the-line edition,
01:29and it has wood trim and leather details
01:32with piping and contrast stitching,
01:34but what's notable is this big screen that anchors the dash.
01:39This is a 17-inch screen,
01:41and it's been completely redesigned.
01:43You can customize the screen however you would like,
01:46and on the center console,
01:47they've removed the gear selector,
01:50so that's up on the steering wheel,
01:51and what this does is it gives us space
01:53for a place to pop your phone, cup holders,
01:56there is a volume dial here,
01:58the engine stop-start is here now located in the center,
02:02and then a nice little console
02:04with a wireless phone charger and USB ports.
02:07The steering wheel is a D-shaped steering wheel,
02:09so it's flat on the bottom,
02:11and then we have driver-assist features here
02:14and multimedia here.
02:15This is Volkswagen's digital cockpit.
02:18It's a premium digital display,
02:21and that's going to be standard across all trends.
02:25In the rear seat of the Volkswagen Tiguan for 2025,
02:29there is a lot more space.
02:30This is a longer wheelbase.
02:32There's more passenger space in the back seat.
02:34All that extra space adds up to more legroom in the rear seat
02:37and more cargo space in the cargo area.
02:41The Tiguan has been a volume car for Volkswagen,
02:45and for good reason.
02:47It delivers a lot of things that consumers want,
02:49great space, all-wheel drive, reliability,
02:53and a really sharp look,
02:54and that continues for 2025.
