00:00We all know that the road from Nanchangod to Mysore was discussed for more than 1,500 years.
00:11In 2013-14, we conducted a survey.
00:16We were able to read some of the arguments and some of the reports in the paper that
00:24we were able to conduct the survey.
00:29We did not read any of the actions that followed.
00:32The survey for the Thirur-Yadapalli railway station is a survey that has been going on for more than 1,500 years.
00:38It is a situation that has not reached anywhere.
00:42We heard that another survey will be conducted from Thirunavayil to Guruvayil and that it is going to start,
00:49but it has not started yet.
00:51If we are able to take these two lines from Thirur to the north and the south,
00:57and if we are able to connect this metro line and bring it to the centre,
01:02the distance from Thiruvananthapuram to Mysore, the railway distance,
01:07will be reduced to half of what it is now.
01:11Now, if we travel the 1961 km railway route, we will be able to reach Mysore from Thiruvananthapuram.
01:19Similarly, if a person from Kasargod wants to reach Mysore,
01:23they will have to travel 503 km to reach the railway station.
01:27If a bridge is built along this route,
01:30they will be able to travel 100 km from Kasargod to reach Mysore.
01:36If they are travelling from Thiruvananthapuram,
01:39the distance will be reduced to half of what it is now.
01:43Sir, I agree that a party has the right to advance in any matter,
01:50but it would be better for you and the Secretary of State to think about whether all this is needed.
01:56The next disaster will be,
01:58whether it is this government or any other government in the future,
02:03a metro line that is not likely to come.
02:07This is a matter that is not in the consideration of any government.
