00:00The Council for the Welfare of Children is very grateful to President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:06for his continued support of these programs.
00:10In a statement of Radyo Pilipinas,
00:12CWC Executive Director and Undersecretary Angelo Tapales said,
00:18the President's contribution to Executive Order No. 79
00:22to establish the Makabata Program and Makabata Helpline 1383
00:29The Administration of President R. Marcos is active in projects
00:34that will help with the rights and protection of children.
00:38Meanwhile, the Council is hoping that the Magna Carta of Children will be passed by the Congress.
00:45There are more government agencies that will help
00:48for the welfare of Filipino children.
00:52We are grateful to our President for his continued support of the Council for the Welfare of Children.
00:58In fact, on December 6, 2024,
01:01the President passed Executive Order No. 79
01:07which institutionalizes the Makabata Program and Makabata Helpline 1383
01:13as the main helpline of the government for all children's concerns.
