00:00The Department of Tourism, along with the reinstatement of their 400 Million Pesos Branding Project or BUDGET,

00:08promised to strengthen its marketing and promotion strategies to attract more tourists.

00:16In a statement of Radyo Pilipinas to Tourism Secretary Cristina Frasco,

00:20she said that the Philippines will strengthen its tourism branding in other countries,

00:26particularly in Europe and the Middle East, which are potential tourism markets.

00:31The Department of Tourism will also not neglect other primary source markets,

00:36such as South Korea, Japan, and the United States.

00:40The DOT is also working together with the Department of Transportation and Tourism

00:48to improve the arrival experience of tourists and to increase the capacity of flights to the country.

00:56Meanwhile, the DOT is already planning to expand the visa policies for the Indian National Tourists.

01:03This is a big help to increase the number of international tourists visiting the Philippines.

01:11We have coordinated with the NNIC, the private operator,

01:16and also with the Department of Transportation to continue our coordination

01:21so that we can make sure that the arrival experience of our tourists will vastly improve.

01:26We're also very interested in making sure that the capacities of the Philippines

01:31that receives visitors continues to increase because this is one of our challenges,

01:36especially in terms of the availability of flights and seats coming into the country.
