00:00We hope for more rain in some parts of the country in the coming months because of the La Niña conditions.

00:1259% chance of continuing the La Niña conditions until April.

00:16Even if it's slow and temporary, it's also possible for a storm to happen.

00:20La Niña is the drop in the temperature or the cold of the sea in the central and eastern portion of the Pacific Ocean.

00:26It has the opposite effect in the Philippines or the Western Pacific.

00:30Here, the sea gets hot and it causes rain.

00:35For now, the eastern part of the Southern Luzon is affected by the shear line

00:39while the northern and central Luzon are affected.

00:42A few weeks of the shear line and easterly is one of the visible effects of the La Niña.

00:49Based on the rainfall forecast of Metro Weather,

00:51some parts of the Cagayan Valley Region, Cordillera, Aurora, Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be affected in the next few hours.

01:00Heavy to intense rains that can cause floods or landslides are possible.

01:04The chance of rain is low here in Metro Manila.
