00:29for the arrest of a Chinese national for spying.

00:35The AFP does not consider it an isolated incident.

00:40It is part of a larger strategy

00:42that challenges our sovereignty and security.

00:47So therefore, sir, it is crucial for us to view these actions

00:52as interconnected elements that is part of a broader plan.

00:56The AFP is looking for a connection to the recovered submersible drones in our ocean

01:03that was arrested by Chinese nationals who were spying on the country

01:06according to the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

01:09And start connecting the dots.

01:11There seems now to be a deliberate and calculated move

01:16to map out the country by a foreign power.

01:19This is what your armed forces are watching.

01:22We are facing this and we are taking appropriate action.

01:25The investigation continues on the high-tech devices

01:29that were used to arrest the Chinese

01:30that were able to make a 3D mapping of the location of the houses

01:34even if they are outside the structure.

01:36And the information will be sent in real-time to China.

01:40This has also been seen in some EDCA sites in Luzon

01:43including power plants, NGCP substations,

01:47and Malampaya gas fields in Palawan.
