Raquel Laguna/ SUCOPRESS. Filmmaker Michael Polish directs ALARUM. In this interview, the director talks about working with actors Sylvester Stallone, Scott Eastwood. Polish also talks about the challenges of making the film. Sylvester Stallone, Scott Eastwood, Mike Colter, and Willa Fitzgerald star in this explosive action-thriller about two married spies caught in the crosshairs of an international intelligence network that will stop at nothing to obtain a critical asset. Joe (Eastwood) and Lara (Fitzgerald) are agents living off the grid whose quiet retreat at a winter resort is blown to shreds when members of the old guard suspect the two may have joined an elite team of rogue spies, known as ALARUM.

00:00Any time you can bring a spy thriller to the screen,
00:03we're gonna have a lot of fun.
00:04So it wasn't very hard to bring this to life
00:07when you have Scott and Stallone.
00:09They like the story.
00:10Scott was already on board and I knew Stallone for a while
00:15and this was something that we could do together.
00:17And after those two, we got Willa and that was a trifecta.
00:22Once we got those three, we were off to the races.
00:25Stallone's there, you just take a step back
00:27and you watch what he's gonna bring,
00:29but he does love direction.
00:31He likes to know what's going on
00:32and he moves quite quick and he's such a veteran
00:37that if something isn't working during a scene,
00:41more than likely he has the antidote to help everybody out
00:44and he's a real team player.
00:48I get to make popcorn movies.
00:50It's a lot of fun to have a career
00:51where you can go back and forth.
00:53Actually, it's always time commitment,
00:54how much time you get to pull off some of these stunts.
00:59Every time there's an explosion, it takes a while
01:02and safety is priority number one.
