07:23What are the main reasons for the upcoming oil price hike?

07:27Sir Rafi, this is an immediate onset effect.

07:31When the latest U.S. sanctions against Russia were released,

07:39I estimate that 180 shadow tankers were listed there.

07:46These tankers were the ones who were sanctioned.

07:50They could not deliver.

07:52The estimated affected supply of these tankers would be around 1.6 million barrels of oil per day.

08:04Their destination is usually China and India.

08:09There are products affected, meaning refined products, around 180,000 to 200,000 barrels per day.

08:19This 1.6 million barrels of oil is around 1.6 to 2 percent of the global supply.

08:27This is an immediate impact.

08:30China has also issued a confirmation in its reports advising refinery ports in China not to accept tankers included in the list of U.S. sanctions.

08:50In other words, this has a heavy effect.

08:54This means that even China, most likely India will follow this.

08:59China has already followed this.

09:01It seems that these tankers will not be able to deliver, affecting immediately the supply of this estimated 1.6 million barrels of oil.

11:44But the U.S. will supply a larger volume and hoping that OPEC Plus will also be able to supply.
