00:00A new temporary restraining order was issued by the Supreme Court against the disqualification or cancellation of the Certificate of Candidacy of the three candidates for the local position in the 2025 National and Local Elections.
00:16The three candidates are Marie Grace R. David, who is running for Vice Mayor in Limay, Bataan, Mary Dominica Oñate, who is running for Mayor in Palumpun, Leyte, and Aldrin Santana, who is running for Mayor in Bukawe, Bulacan.
00:33Because of this, the Supreme Court is also adding their names to the balota.
00:38Comalec Chairman George Erwin Garcia said that because they are not reprinting the new balota, it will not be a problem to add the names of the three candidates.
00:49Aside from this, these are local positions, so the Commission can do something about it.
00:54Meanwhile, Comalec announced that the reprinting of the new balota will not continue on Monday.
