00:00Just last night, we caught a cyclist who counter-flowed on the North Luzon Expressway.
00:08The man in the viral video was just caught.
00:11This is the report of Rafi Tima.
00:17This dashcam footage of a motorist in Marteza Endex Northbound in the Philippine Arena is viral and has more than 500,000 views on social media.
00:25A cyclist who was riding a bicycle next to the Central Island suddenly appeared.
00:29He counter-flowed and was chased by an endex patrol officer.
00:32The motorist was shocked by the incident.
00:36When our patrol was coming down, we stopped him but he didn't stop.
00:40So what we did was to chase our patrol because he really needed to stop because he counter-flowed in the traffic.
00:49Why did he not stop? Was he explained?
00:52He was not explained because his words were very few.
00:58All I heard from him was thank you. That's all. He couldn't speak properly.
01:04He was not caught but the cyclist stopped him.
01:06He was immediately put in a patrol car and was taken out of the expressway.
01:09He was also chased. According to Endex, this was just a joke and it seemed like nothing happened so he entered the expressway.
01:15He was just taught to go straight and it seemed like he didn't know the expressway so he was being chased.
01:23The Bicycle Rider has yet to respond to GMI Integrated News.
01:26Aside from the dangerous act committed by the cyclist, according to Endex, bicycles are not allowed in the expressway as per the law.
01:33Our signage is complete. It only has an arrow.
01:38Endex reminds motorists to be careful, especially at the entrance and exit of the expressway.
01:44Their personnel will continue to be alert so this won't happen again.
01:49Raffy Tima reporting for GMI Integrated News.
01:53The Supreme Court and the bank have added a temporary restraining order against Comelec.
01:59This is to prohibit their resolution to not include the three local aspirants in the election of 2025.
02:06Meanwhile, Comelec has suspended the dismissal of a candidate's petition for substitution and inclusion in the official list of candidates.
02:18Comelec has also suspended the declaration of this to a candidate as a nuisance candidate
02:24and the cancellation of the certificate of candidacy of another candidate.
02:29Comelec's chairman, George Erwin Garcia, said that the ballot printing hasn't started yet,
02:35so they have no problem in obeying the new order of the Supreme Court.
02:40Remember to stop the printing of ballots in accordance with the previous order of the Supreme Court
02:46to include the names of the five aspirants in the ballots.
02:50Six million ballots have already been printed.
02:55A gunshot wound to the head of General Santos City by a driver of his age, Benuli Umanunya.
03:06The cause of the wound is said to be jealousy and debt,
03:09so a grandmother was killed by a driver in Pangasinan when she was with her younger brother for almost four decades.
03:17Jerick Pasilyaw of GMA Regional TV has a report.
03:22The combination of a 72-year-old grandmother and a 33-year-old man she was with in Aguilar, Pangasinan.
03:29It is alleged that the man killed his grandmother, Kalivin.
03:34The suspect ran away, but police in his house in Bayambang found the possible cause of the crime, jealousy and debt.
03:42I talked to him. I told him that I can't take it anymore.
03:45I can't take it anymore if he doesn't accept that I'm courting someone else.
03:53They are living in one roof.
03:56The suspect is drunk and the victim is taking what he borrowed from the suspect of 13,000 pesos.
04:10The family of the victim decided to file a complaint of murder.
04:14It's very saddening because it happened so suddenly.
04:19We didn't expect that it would happen to my mother.
04:26In an internet shop in General Santos City, a man suddenly stood up and threatened the woman next to him.
04:33He also threatened the other woman.
04:35The victim was hospitalized for 17 years.
04:38He was only the age of the suspect.
04:40According to the police, the victim was being bullied.
04:43The suspect was being bullied by the victim in an internet cafe.
04:48He smelled bad.
04:49The suspect ran away.
04:51When he saw the knife, he grabbed it because the other woman bullied him.
04:57The victim surrendered and is now in the custody of the DSWD.
05:01He also surrendered the knife he used.
05:03He is trying to get his family's permission.
05:06The owner of the internet cafe did not give a statement.
05:09But he promised that he will ensure the safety of the establishment.
05:12Jarek Pasilyaw of GMA Regional TV is reporting for GMA Integrated News.
05:19The 22-year-old woman is no longer a child.
05:22She is now a vendor in a viral video of a security guard in a mall.
05:30Her family is angry with what happened.
05:32They have no plans to sue the security guard.
05:35Chino Gaston has the story.
05:40On December 17, a viral video of a security guard beating a netizen,
05:46a girl, was caught on video.
05:49Last night, the police went to the house of the woman in the video,
05:53whose name we will hide, Marie.
05:55She is from Quezon City.
05:58A while ago, the DSWD intervened.
06:01Marie is not there.
06:02Her family was the ones who intervened.
06:04They were given P20,000 in financial aid.
06:07Her parents have a story.
06:09They are vendors and they sell garbage cans.
06:20That's why Marie's parents were angry when they watched the video.
06:24She was just sitting there.
06:26She was sleeping at that time.
06:28She was still awake.
06:29My daughter is still alive.
06:31She didn't steal anything.
06:33According to her parents, Marie is 22 years old.
06:36She's in her first year in medical technology.
06:40She has a husband who studies nursing.
06:42They have two siblings.
06:44But why does Marie's uniform look like a high school uniform?
06:47The DSWD explained.
06:49Because it's hard for them,
06:51they use whatever available uniforms they have.
06:55Marie's parents have no plans to sue the security guard.
06:58But according to the PNP, he's still unwell.
07:01We will give them a specific date to appear in our office next week.
07:07Even though he didn't steal anything,
07:09even the agency will initiate a formal filing of administrative complaint.

09:28In the third time this year,
09:31the Big Time Oil Price Hike is on the rise again next week.
09:35Two pesos and thirty centavos up to two pesos and sixty centavos
09:40is the possible price increase for every liter of diesel.
09:44One peso and thirty-five centavos up to one peso and sixty centavos for gasoline.
09:50Two pesos and thirty centavos up to two pesos and fifty centavos for kerosene.
09:57That's based on the average of four-day trading this week until yesterday.
10:02According to the Oil Industry Management Bureau of the Energy Department,
10:06the new oil price hike is due to the reduction of oil exports from Russia
10:12due to the new sanctions imposed by the United States and Britain
10:17due to the war in Ukraine.
10:19It is also possible that shipping or oil travel will be affected because of this.
10:24Many OFWs in Kuwait have passed away,
10:28including Jenny Alvarado, according to her son.
10:32She is the OFW who was replaced by a Nepalese employee
10:36who was forced to go home to the Philippines.
10:39Some Nepalese have also passed away.
10:42Because of this, the Alvarado family is convinced that there is foul play in Jenny's death.
10:48It is obvious that the cause of her death is suffocation, cold, or vomiting.
10:53According to the Department of Migrant Workers,
10:56Alvarado's body was not autopsied in Kuwait.
10:59Now, it is being autopsied by the NBI.
11:02The DMW is now studying the legal actions.

11:15which was flying around several times until it seemed to crash.
11:19It was safely landed in Bangin.

11:38A tourist was found dead in Pangasinan.
11:40That's why she put a cinematic appeal on her appreciation post for the views there.
11:47This is Jhita Yorian for this report.
11:54For a scenic walk, let's go to Pangasinan.
11:57C as in Tanawin Mula sa Bolinao Lighthouse, the beautiful surroundings.
12:03C, Seascape where you can enjoy swimming.
12:07And C as in Roman numeral of 100.
12:11If your trip counts 100 islands one by one in your island hopping adventure.
12:16That's what Aaron saw with his family on vacation.
12:20But he doesn't just want to enjoy this beauty.
12:24When my family and I travel, I want to document it.
12:28When I was in Pangasinan trip, I rented a camera that is really good.
12:34That's why the views they went to in the province are even better and shared with cinematic feels.
12:41But it seems like there's no need for a filter in Patar Beach.
12:46And in Blue Green Water in Bolinao Falls.
12:49When we went there, our plan was only for 3 days.
12:52But we extended it to a day in Pangasinan just to enjoy it.
12:58You might think it's tiring, but it's not. It's so relaxing.
13:02And in this trip, every tourist spot is really worth the shot.
