00:00The draw me to the project was simply that I was getting an opportunity to play an honest cop.
00:10I've seen one at home all my life in terms of my father.
00:14So, I thought this is an opportunity where you can sincerely explore a cop.
00:22Even though it's like a commercial sort of subject,
00:25there was scope for exploration and the fact that they made it into a Haryanvi character focus.
00:33So, that also was more interesting.
00:35Because I feel that if you talk about ordinary things, it becomes entertaining.
00:47It was wonderful absolutely to work with Dina.
00:49I'm not just saying that, I think she was very inspiring.
00:53I didn't know about her health condition when we were filming and I was able to go for more than two weeks.
00:59So, I have deep admiration for her.
01:03And I wish her robust health, well-being and a lot of happiness.
01:11In terms of Devendu, I had a few scenes with him also.
01:14In fact, Hina's character and Devendu's character are the two characters that I have real scenes with.
01:21But Chunky's character, we don't really interact much in the show.
01:31I mean, there's no interaction with this character.
01:35It's sort of a hit and a miss.
01:43I think Tokers is pretty much not one-dimensional.
01:46It's got many dimensions to it.
01:49He's headstrong yet he wants to decipher.
01:52The system is sort of against him because his seniors are trying to do something else.
02:02Then, even if I look at his subordinate, there is one mole within the organization who lets him down in a drug heist.
02:14If I look at Hina's character, Greha Lakshmi,
02:17initially, you're taken in.
02:21She's a domestic help with a humble life.
02:27There's more than what is meeting your eye.
02:30So, there, there's a challenge.
02:32Kareem Kazi is obvious. I know it's my duty to catch him.
02:37Which is not part of the story.
02:40There have been opportunities where I almost had him and he escaped.
02:44So, the frustration leading up to Kareem Kazi is there.
02:51Of course, he's a representative.
02:53Eventually, I succeed in getting him.
02:56Devendra's part.
02:58So, it's got multi-layers.
03:01It's got many problems.
03:03It's got a mystery to unravel from my point of view.
03:06It's got a system to be put back in place.
03:08Betalgarh, which is going all mad.
03:11Everything is wrong about Betalgarh in terms of the law and order.
03:15So, you take on the owners and the responsibility.
03:18You wear a crown full of thorns.
03:20So, you have to fix that.
03:23So, there are many challenges.
03:25I feel that if I'm an audience,
03:28I should explore the details of the show through the tokers.
03:35Because as they get exposed to the tokers,
03:39they get to know what's going on.
03:45So, it's very interesting.
