00:00The President of the Philippines is not happy with the 2025 budget so he is looking for a funding from President Bongbong Marcos and some programs of his administration.

00:10The President also insisted that this is not the right time to talk about the impeachment against the Vice President.

00:23Since last week, President Bongbong Marcos has been assisting different departments.

00:28They are discussing where to get the necessary funds for the priority of the project this year.

00:33The President admitted that he is not happy with the 2025 budget of the Congress because of the transfer of funds to the Bicameral Conference Committee.

00:42The budget, as was passed, you could describe it as sub-optimal. But we are remedying that situation.

00:49Let me put it simply. What we are doing is we are looking for savings for the national expenditure programs that were not given funds so that we can return those funds.

01:07This is even if the insertion is worth Php 200 billion or those who will be excluded from the budget will be vetoed or not approved by the President.

01:15Some of the funds that the President is looking for for the dams that are important for irrigation and flood control,

01:20the funds for the education project, and the funds for the development of tourism in the country,

01:25legacy projects or projects that have a direct effect on the Filipinos,

01:29are the ones he wants to give priority, especially this year when he is almost halfway in his six-year term.

01:35According to the President, in the ceremonial turnover of more than 3,000 housing units for the victims of the Super Typhoon Yolanda,

01:42and not like the previous housing projects that were neglected and neglected,

01:47they assured that these have water and electricity, public transportation, and are close to the livelihood of the residents so that they can surely live.

01:57According to the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development or DASYUD,

02:31He is right. There is a consequence to, there will be a precedence and it will be very problematic.

02:38The House doesn't have a choice and the Senate doesn't have a choice once these impeachment complaints are filed.

02:44But I don't think that now is the time to go through that.

02:49So we will let it be for now.

02:52As a practical matter, we will enter the campaign period.

02:56The Congressmen and Senators are not there anymore because they are campaigning.
