'Everybody is tense': Family of released hostage hopeful of ceasefire confirmation Source: The Independent
Transcript
00:00So everybody is tensed and at the same time hopeful because now there is a real chance
00:06to see all 98 hostages back here with us.
00:11In the last few weeks we saw live signs from some of them
00:16and we know that they are in a bad state but we also know that right now
00:21if we make a deal and bring them back then we can save them.
00:26Their mothers are here with us in this square
00:30waiting to hear that their loved one is coming back to safety,
00:34coming back to their arms.
00:36This is all I can hope for right now, that this deal will be signed,
00:40that this Sunday hostages are going to get out of the posters
00:45that we've all been hanging and just come back alive
00:51to hug their families just like our Yarden did on November 23.
00:57I know that if an opportunity to get a deal is missed
01:03then your loved one remains behind.
01:07And I know that Carmel, my cousin, could have been here if a deal was taken on time.
01:14And I know that she would be able to speak to you instead of me
01:19if the deal would not have been broken in the middle.
01:23This time we have to go through.
01:25We have to bring back two-year-old Kfir and 86-year-old Shlomo.
01:32We have to bring back the young girls and the old grandparents.
01:39We have to bring back the people that are alive
01:42and the bodies that must be returned to be buried in Israel.
01:47We must bring back all of them home this time
01:51and return the faith, the trust in humanity.
