What are your thoughts on the cost of driving lessons these days? And do you think our roads are becoming more dangerous?
Transcript
00:00Yes, because there's a lot more traffic on, yeah, especially the A19.
00:07I'm paying £35 an hour for lessons, which, yeah, it's a bit much, but I think it's the
00:16waiting time, like, that's the worst part. The insurance is crazy. Like, you'd be lucky
00:21if you're getting any insurance quotes under three grand when you're 17 now, yeah, even
00:26for terrible cars as well.
00:28I've got a six-month waitlist for a test as well.
00:30Yeah, apparently they're backed up to, like, the summer now. Some people aren't getting
00:33them until May. And I've just turned 17, so I'd be trying to, like, pass straight away.
00:41It was in old money. I can't remember. Oh, ten bob an hour, I think, which is 50 pence.
00:49I don't want to qualify to drive here because English drivers are terrifying, and also roundabouts
00:55because we don't have roundabouts in Canada at all. We have four-way stop signs instead.
