00:00A 17-year-old student who was walking in a subdivision in Taytay, Rizal was hit by a cell phone.

00:07This is the latest incident in the testimony of Jamie Santos.

00:13A woman was walking in a subdivision in Taytay, Rizal this Tuesday night in front of a CCTV camera.

00:20She was holding a cell phone.

00:22Later, she was quickly hit by a car while riding in tandem.

00:26You can see in the CCTV footage for a few seconds that the 17-year-old victim seemed to be paralyzed due to the incident.

00:34When she got home, it was around 6.45 p.m.

00:39When I opened the door, she heard me crying and mumbling.

00:44Then she told me that she was hit by a cell phone here along Golden City.

00:49I am thankful that nothing happened to her.

00:53It's okay that she was hit by a cell phone.

00:55But the trauma to her, sometimes, even now, it's like she's afraid.

01:01According to the victim, she was on her way home from the school of Maganap, Angkrimet.

01:05After she got hit by a car, she just looked at me in a bad way.

01:10Then, her undercarriage got faster.

01:14I was surprised.

01:16Of course, she looked at me and I looked at her.

01:19Then, I panicked because I didn't know what to do at that time.

01:24After the crime, the victim asked for help from the Homeowners Association to help her pay her salary.

01:31Here in our subdivision, there are neighboring subdivisions where they are just passing by.

01:36So, she's not from Golden City per se.

01:40She's from another neighboring subdivision.

01:44Be careful. Avoid using cell phones, especially when walking.

01:48But we make sure that the CCTV can be upgraded or leveled up so that it can help or solve the victim when it comes to such things.

01:58The mother of the victim reported the incident to the barangay.

02:07But I know that they are just passing by.
