If things go according to plan, the Rafah crossing would have to be opened as a first step and basic needs should be brought into Gaza, Professor Kamel Hawwash says.

00:15Well, if things go according to plan, then the Rafah crossing would be open.
00:22In the first phases, temporary homes, accommodation and more tents would be sent in together with relief, both medical relief and in terms of food and other needs.
00:36And during that period, and that is something we also need to consider, there would be a question of who rules Gaza after the guns have stopped.
00:47That isn't clear as yet, but that is important before the question of rebuilding starts.
