00:07The Department of Finance explained the calculation of the National Allotment Shares in various LGUs in accordance with the Mandanas-Garcia Ruling of the Supreme Court and the existing law.
00:18Under the guidance of Finance Secretary Ralph Recto to the mayors, the various lines of computation were explained in detail and it was declared transparent in the process.
00:28Under the Mandanas-Garcia Ruling, it was stated that not only in the Internal Revenue Allotment or IRA will the LGU funds come from if there should not be a share of the income received from the National Tax Allotment.
00:42In addition, Secretary Recto, nothing was changed here based on the decision of the Supreme Court and the resolution of the Development and Budget Coordination Committee or DBCC.
00:51The mayors thanked the DOF for their openness and their response to the issue.
01:00For the time being, the Bicol Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon will experience widespread flooding due to the shear line.
01:12It is also expected that there will be widespread flooding in the Eastern Visayas, Carraga, Davao Region, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi due to the Easter Lease.
01:21Northeast Monsun or Amiha will experience severe flooding in the Cordillera Administrative Region, a portion of Cagayan Valley, Metro Manila, Tilocos Region, and a portion of Central Luzon.
01:34President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured that the services and benefits of PhilHealth will not be reduced despite the Zero Subsidy.
01:43According to the President, in fact, it will be increased and its services will be increased this 2025.
01:50This is my guarantee. My guarantee is very simple.
01:54Even if there is a subsidy, even if there is no subsidy, even if there is a contribution, all of these issues, PhilHealth's services will not be reduced.
02:05PhilHealth's payment to the insurance claim will not be reduced.
02:11In fact, we will increase the services that PhilHealth will provide. We will increase the payment to the insurance claims.
02:23So, I would like to just assure everybody, don't worry that the services will be reduced.
02:30For anyone, for the seniors, for the poor, for the middle class, nothing will be reduced, not even a cent.
02:39Quite the opposite, we will increase that in 2025.
02:43The services that PhilHealth will provide will be increased.
02:48The payment that will be given to the insurance claim will be increased.
02:53So, don't worry.
02:56Nothing will be lost in the services of PhilHealth.
02:59We are improving the services of PhilHealth so that more will be given to the people of the country.
