00:00The Department of Labor and Employment, or DOLE, laid the groundwork to give more opportunities to Filipino workers

00:09and to protect their rights and rights.

00:29According to the E-POINT socio-economic agenda of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:38DOLE will strengthen the Employment Human Resources Development and give skills to the workers.

00:45The care for the rights and well-being of Filipino workers will also be prioritized.

00:50Last year, more than 100,000 labor cases were resolved by DOLE.

00:56DOLE will also strengthen the interaction with the international community.

01:00The main goal is to help in the realization of the goals and aspirations of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

01:11to reduce the poverty incidence and to increase the expected help from DOLE.

01:19DOLE will also add more jobs fairs.

01:22Last year, almost 2,000 jobs fairs were held by DOLE in different parts of the Philippines

01:28where more than 400,000 applicants were hired and more than 60,000 were hired on the spot.

01:34The priority will also be to provide assistance to the areas affected by the closure of FOGOs in the country

01:40under their project DAPAT.

01:42In addition, the Public-Private Partnership will also look at retooling, upskilling and retraining all Filipino workers.

01:50There will also be a career counseling and support development program for the youth.

01:55It will also help to strengthen the relationship with the private sector

02:03by providing more quality and permanent jobs.

02:07The livelihood assistance will also be provided to vulnerable sectors such as senior citizens and persons with disabilities.

02:15Digitalization will strengthen all services of the agency as part of the Ease of Doing business.

02:21The implementation program will be improved and the Expanded Kadiwa Program will be strengthened
