00:26We must work together and do whatever it takes to put the importance of teachers at the forefront.
00:34That's why we have created a million dollar prize to find the greatest teacher in the world.
00:43Like all of you, our foundation believes in the power of teachers to transform students' lives.
00:51We're focused on ensuring that every classroom has an effective, well-supported teacher.
00:57And on empowering teachers to shape and build their profession.
01:01When each of us thinks about what we can do in life, chances are we can do it because of a teacher.
01:09Being a great teacher requires resilience, ingenuity and a generous heart.

02:02The most important thing this project has done is to reawaken the world's appreciation of the importance of teachers.
02:10Children inspire me the most. They can tell me what they need and I can help to integrate it in my lesson.
02:16They're learning to get the voice when they're still very young, so we hope they're learning to also be global citizens.
02:23My goal is to be able to give them the tools that they need to be masters of their own destiny.
