00:00Well it's full time here at the London Stadium and I think if this is a sign of things to
00:04come for West Ham under Graham Potter it's going to be a hell of a lot of fun. This was
00:08a 3-2 win against Fulham in this London derby. It means that Potter, who got off to a losing
00:15start in Clarendon Blue when West Ham went out of the FA Cup in the third round on Friday
00:21night against Aston Villa, it does at least mean that he's won his first Premier League
00:24match in charge of West Ham. This was a barmy encounter, a crazy game really, in which West
00:29Ham were 2-0 up at the break thanks to goals within the space of two minutes of each other
00:34from Carlos Soler and Thomas Socek as well. The Socek goal in particular was an excellent
00:39strike which involved a lot of West Ham players in a really nice flowing move. Fulham have
00:45got a very good record against West Ham and they halved the deficit just after the interval
00:49when Alex Iwobi crossed and Jimenez looked like he might have got a touch but he didn't
00:53so the cross went straight in from Iwobi. And actually Fulham's second goal, which was
00:57the final goal of this 3-2 win for West Ham, was exactly the same. Again Iwobi crossing,
01:02Harry Wilson trying to head it in, not quite managing to, and the cross went through Fabianski's
01:07grasp anyway. But luckily for West Ham they had scored a third in between those two goals
01:12through Lucas Paqueta after a crazy error by goalkeeper Bernd Leno, who was tackled
01:16by substitute Danny Ings and Paqueta rolled into an empty net and in the end they needed
01:21that goal because West Ham of course conceded again to Iwobi. But they held on and won 3-2
01:26so it's off to winning ways, at least in the Premier League, for Graham Potter in the
01:29new job.
