00:00Just to be clear, of course, we're not talking about a full ceasefire, a permanent ceasefire
00:05at this stage.
00:06We're talking about this...
00:07Well, we are, kind of.
00:08You know, there is an agreement that there will be a 42-day ceasefire, and on day 16
00:13they will talk about the next 42 days.
00:17My understanding is that Hamas until now has not agreed to begin a ceasefire without obligations
00:22that the war would end at the end of the second phase.
00:26I am assuming here, and perhaps this is a false assumption, but everything in my analysis
00:30says that it's correct, that the Americans have promised the Egyptians and the Qataris,
00:35who have told Hamas, that they will assure that the war will end at the end of the second
00:41ceasefire period.
00:42In other words, 42 days, and then another 42 days, and the war will end.
00:46Israel won't go in.
00:47This, of course, can all break down, and if there is a breakdown in the ceasefire, then
00:51Israel can renew its fighting, Hamas can renew its fighting.
00:54But assuming that the deal is implemented, we're looking at what will be the end of the
00:58war, because at the end of the second 42-day period, Hamas is required to release all of
01:03the Israeli hostages, or all of those that they can find.
