00:00Reports of F-22s getting like boxed in by flying orbs that they couldn't shake.
00:04There were satellite images or satellite image of a football field sized flying saucer hiding
00:10in clouds. Welcome to WatchMojo and today we're counting down our picks for the most mysterious
00:15and most significant UAP revelations of the last decade. The American people ought to know
00:20the truth and the facts. There's so much that we have over classified.
00:2310. UAPs in Iraq
00:28This one is actually a still from a video. It's a brief video, maybe four seconds,
00:34where this orb or this metallic looking ball runs alongside a spy plane.
00:42A running theme with UAP sightings of late is that they appear to be especially common
00:47around US military locations, either that or around nuclear power stations. For example,
00:53in 2016 and 2018, there were two headline-grabbing cases in Iraq. Evidence of the first was only
01:00released to the public in January 2023 by the UFO investigators Jeremy Korbel and George Knapp.
01:06Dubbed the Mosul Orb, it can be seen in an eerie four-second clip,
01:11floating over the streets of the Iraqi city of Mosul. The second, while it dates back to 2018,
01:17was only released to the public in January 2024, again by Korbel. Dubbed the Jellyfish,
01:24it was recorded hovering close to an active military base in Iraq.
01:399. UAPs in the Pacific
01:42Another emerging trend with modern-day UAP sightings is that so many of them happen over
01:47water, and particularly over our largest oceans. The summer of 2019 was an especially unusual time
01:54for US Navy ships operating in the Pacific. For example, footage was released of a UAP event
02:00dating to July 15, 2019, during which an apparent swarm of flying objects was seen to briefly swirl
02:07around the USS Omaha. According to reports, there were at least 10 similar sightings between
02:31March and the end of July that year, involving at least seven US warships. Some cases seemingly
02:38could be explained, such as the UAPs being drones controlled by a nearby suspected Hong Kong spy
02:45ship. However, not all of the somethings over the Pacific have been accounted for.
02:578. UFOs Flood Brazil and Japan
03:02A mystery in the night sky. What some say are drones, lots of them, but no one seems to know
03:08from where or why. The whole of 2020 proved another interesting time for UAP sightings.
03:14It was when the COVID pandemic was at its height all over the world, but in other news, there were
03:19a lot of unexplained happenings in the sky. In Brazil, one night in May, over the municipality
03:25of Magé to the north of Rio de Janeiro, a sudden onslaught of multicolored lights was spotted by
03:31multiple people, with a rush of videos trending for a short while on social media. In Japan,
03:37after a slew of UAP events in the summer, the government created a list of stringent protocols
03:42for reporting UAPs going forward, in one of the first moves of its kind around the world.
03:48Meanwhile, in the US, the first sightings of the so-called Jetpack Man were lodged.
03:54To date, Jetpack Man has been spotted on at least five occasions flying over Los Angeles.
03:59The FBI says this bizarrely shaped UAP is probably a novelty helium balloon blown off course,
04:06but not everyone's buying it. The FAA says it has worked closely with the FBI to investigate
04:12every reported jetpack sighting, and so far, no sightings have been verified.
04:177. The Unshrouding of ATIP The New York Times reported this weekend
04:21that the Pentagon has finally acknowledged the existence of a special program that
04:26investigated reports of UFOs. Until recent times, UAPs were universally known as UFOs,
04:33and the topic was, unfortunately, dogged by stigma. That feeling really started to change,
04:38however, when, in December of 2017, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Politico
04:45all published stories revealing the existence of an until-then classified UFO branch in the
04:51United States government called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program,
04:56or ATIP. The program ran across the Bush and Obama administrations between 2007 and 2012,
05:03and required state backing to the tune of more than $22 million.
05:07The Pentagon's recent acknowledgment of the existence of this secretive program
05:10certainly provides evidence that the government has been watching the skies
05:14for unidentified aerial phenomena. It was started by Senator Harry Reid,
05:18and it worked in collaboration with a number of private aerospace firms,
05:22including Bigelow Aerospace. One Luis Elizondo famously claims to have been a leading figure in
05:28ATIP, but we'll speak more about him later in the video.
05:31The reality is we've been dealing with this topic as a government for decades, so it's not like
05:37there's some sort of adversarial technology that just popped on the proverbial radar that's ahead
05:43of us. This is something we've been dealing with as a nation for 60 years.
05:51One of the pilots we quote was looking down into the water and saw a huge object under the water
05:59and another object hovering above it. At the same time as the revelations around ATIP were
06:03first unveiled, the New York Times and the Washington Post also released what have become
06:08generally known as the Pentagon UFO videos. The Times dropped the gimbal and FLIR tic-tac videos,
06:15while the Post published GoFast. All three clips were made by U.S. military personnel,
06:20and all showcased unidentified objects that apparently travel in impossible ways.
06:29The pilot David Fravor had captured the FLIR tic-tac video in 2004, while he was investigating
06:34radar anomalies near the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier the USS Nimitz off the coast of California.
06:41For gimbal and GoFast, the UAP had been recorded in 2015 close to the USS Theodore Roosevelt,
06:48which was operating off the east coast in the Atlantic Ocean.
06:595. The 2021 UAP Report
07:06This strange encounter with an unidentified flying object is one of more than 140
07:12U.S. intelligence cannot explain. In truth, the long-awaited preliminary assessment into
07:18unidentified aerial phenomenon didn't exactly live up to the hype. It was an official report
07:24issued in June 2021 by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence,
07:28and represented a breakthrough moment at which the U.S. government publicly acknowledged and
07:33addressed multiple UAP claims. It was an unprecedented move at the time, brought
07:38about largely by growing public pressure in the wake of the likes of gimbal, GoFast, and tic-tac.
07:44The nine-page report, though, contained nothing much. Nevertheless, it is remembered for its role
07:50in ushering in a new era of UAP awareness, and in terms of revelations, there were some,
07:56including that 143 of the 144 UAP cases covered by the report were officially considered to be
08:04unexplained. They are sightings that have alarmed and mystified U.S. naval aviators for years.
08:13Spherical objects flying thousands of miles an hour with no wings darting side to side.
08:20David Grush's Testimony
08:34On July 26, 2023, the UAP phenomenon reached Congress. David Grush is a former member of
08:40the U.S. Air Force and a former intelligence operative, but now he's turned whistleblower.
08:45Among the claims that Grush has laid against the U.S. government or certain branches thereof
08:50are that there is a long-running, deep-rooted UFO cover-up conspiracy coursing through its heart.
08:56Do you believe there's an active disinformation campaign within our government to deny
09:00existence of UAPs, yes or no? I don't have an answer to that.
09:05As previously stated publicly, yes. First, he spoke to journalists working
09:10for the debrief, and shortly thereafter was questioned at an explosive congressional hearing.
09:15Grush said that there exists a highly secretive UAP retrieval program within the U.S. government,
09:21and that certain groups have in their possession multiple objects,
09:24including crafts of non-human origin, as well as the corpses of deceased UAP pilots. He further
09:31claims that incredible pressure is placed onto anyone who ever tries to speak out about UAPs,
09:36including alleged threats to life. I do have knowledge of
09:39active planned reprisal activity against myself and other colleagues, and it's very upsetting to me.
09:45Coming from where?
09:47Certain senior leadership at previous agencies I was associated with,
09:52and that's all I'll say publicly.
09:54Number three, Luis Salazando's testimony.
09:57Jump forward a year to November 2024, and UAP was again the hot topic on Capitol Hill.
10:03You specifically said the document said you can't talk about craft retrieval.
10:07Well, you know, you can't talk about Fight Club if there's no Fight Club.
10:11Correct.
10:13Okay, I'm just making an observation.
10:15During the second major UAP hearing, Congress heard from Dr. Tim Gallaudet,
10:20a retired rear admiral with the U.S. Navy, Michael Gold, a former NASA advisor,
10:25Michael Schellenberger, an investigative journalist, and Luis Salazando.
10:30Again, Salazando claims to have been a major figure in the now-defunct
10:34Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.
10:39As the whistleblower he is now, he didn't hold back.
10:42Many of my former colleagues and I have provided classified testimony
10:45to both the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community Inspector General,
10:49and many of us have subsequently been targeted by this cabal with threats to our careers,
10:54our security clearances, and even our lives.
10:58This is not hyperbole, but a genuine fact, and this is wrong.
11:02Salazando told Congress that, quote,
11:04advanced technologies not made by our government or any other government
11:08are monitoring sensitive military installations around the globe.
11:12He also said that he believes we are in the midst of a multi-decade
11:16secretive arms race relating to UAP.
11:19Salazando continued by saying that over the course of many years,
11:23excessive secrecy has led to grave misdeeds within the government,
11:27and all to hide the fact that we are not alone in the cosmos.
11:30The vehicles we're talking about are performing in excess of 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 Gs.
11:39Number two, the Jersey drones.
11:42Right off the back of the second congressional hearing in November 2024,
11:46the New Jersey drones represented an apparent explosion of UAP activity
11:50towards the end of the same year.
11:52People in New Jersey are concerned and demanding information
11:55after a wave of mysterious drone sightings.
11:58Beginning in New Jersey, but spreading to other surrounding states
12:01and indeed to other locations across the world,
12:04there was a huge spike in apparent drone sightings over towns and cities,
12:08over rural and urban areas.
12:10In most cases, local government sought help and clarification
12:13from federal authorities, but to little effect.
12:16And then the government made it worse by saying,
12:19A, that these things are harmless,
12:22but B, they don't know where they come from or what they are.
12:26How do you know that something is harmless
12:29unless you know what it is and where it came from?
12:32Night after night, drones of various shapes and sizes were spotted by residents,
12:36but without any explanation.
12:38Unsurprisingly, speculation grew.
12:41On the lighter side, some believe the drones were the work of hobbyists
12:45as part of an elaborate hoax.
12:47One of the darker suggestions, though, was that they were instead controlled
12:50by the U.S. government and scanning for a lost
12:53and potentially highly destructive weapon of some kind.
12:56Their concern is that a mothership has left from Iran weeks ago,
13:02coinciding about the time somewhere along the area of the United States.

13:241. Immaculate Constellation
13:26I'll show you this example here.
13:28This is a presentation from the UATP task force.
13:31This is completely absurd.
13:33It's nuts, this level of censorship, of redaction on a document.
13:38On paper and without context, the presence of the journalist Michael Schellenberger
13:43at the second congressional hearing on UAPs might have seemed a surprise.
13:47But actually, he was one of the main draws.
13:50In the weeks prior to the hearing, Schellenberger had published a story
13:53relating to yet another whistleblower who had spoken to him,
13:57again insisting that parts of the U.S. government
13:59are deliberately and illegally covering up the truth about UAPs.
14:03The allegation here is that there is a significant body of evidence
14:08that has not been made available to Congress in violation of the Constitution.
14:12At the heart of Schellenberger's scoop were revelations
14:15about an unacknowledged special access program
14:17reportedly called Immaculate Constellation.
14:20This is said to be a huge database of UAP cases and materials,
14:25including high-quality footage and images,
14:28but it's entirely unknown to all but a very select few people.
14:32Ultimately, the existence of Immaculate Constellation
14:35is a groundbreaking revelation in itself,
14:37but looking forward, it could get proved to be the catalyst
14:41for countless more revelations to come.
14:43But this is going to be the original document from the Pentagon
14:48about Immaculate Constellation that Michael Schellenberger
14:52delivered to Congress today.
14:55So thank you, Mr. Schellenberger, for this information.
14:57We are all reading it in real time now,
14:59and Mr. Burchette will enter it into the record,
15:02but 12 pages about this unacknowledged special access program
15:08that your government says does not exist.
15:12What's your verdict on the ongoing story around UAPs?
15:16Let us know in the comments.
15:18This is a topic where I believe America can handle the truth,
15:22and I think America deserves to know the truth about this topic,
15:25about your taxpayer money that's been spent over the decades
15:28to try to figure out just what the heck is going on.
