00:00Albert Gunaratnam, the longest-living heart transplant recipient in Malaysia,
00:07whose life became a symbol of hope and medical advancement, has passed away.
00:13He was the recipient of the second heart transplant in Malaysia on April 10, 1998,
00:20the result of the fulfillment of the heart of a 22-year-old athlete
00:24who lost his life tragically in a motorcycle accident in Ipoh.
00:29At the same time, it gave Albert a second chance.
00:32When the doctor did his heart transplant,
00:36they hoped the procedure would give him time to live for several years,
00:41but fate determined that he would continue to live for 26 years and 9 months.
