00:00But one of the leaders of that Eagles defense, their linebacker
00:04Nikobe Dean feared to had suffered a significant knee
00:08injury that more than likely Dr. Chow reports say will knock him
00:12out for the remainder of this postseason. What did you and
00:15your team at Sports Injury Central see with that knee
00:18injury to Nikobe Dean? What do you think his outlook is for the
00:22remainder of the postseason?
00:24You know, before we get to the Nikobe Dean rewind a little bit
00:27on Jordan Love. All week I was saying more worry about Jordan
00:30Love and his elbow and the nerve issue, especially gripping,
00:33spinning the ball, throwing downfield with accuracy than
00:37Jalen Hurts and unusual the number of picks he threw and he
00:40really wasn't driving the ball downfield. Now to his credit, he
00:43was not blaming the elbow or the nerve issue. But you have to
00:47wonder what role that played. I know pregame Adam Schefter
00:51talked about it and even Nate Berlson talked about it and what
00:55it is. The news on the Nikobe Dean does not appear good.
00:59Unfortunately, we don't have specific video on his left knee.
01:02It just didn't show on the replay. I think it was the step
01:04before he finished the tackle. But you know, obviously carted
01:08off is never a good sign for a guy as tough as him.
01:12Doc, real quick too in this game because I always like the
01:14diagnosis of what happens. We hear the term stinger quite a
01:17bit in professional ranks and certainly college football.
01:20Elton Jenkins got a stinger. What prevents you from coming
01:23back in some players who are able to come back from
01:25stingers?
01:26Well, stingers are like all injuries a little bit
01:29different. Most stingers happen. They're very transient. It goes
01:32away in seconds. Once it starts to last minutes, it usually goes
01:37hours and potentially days and stingers can have you numb and
01:40also weak. So it's a nerve issue. Thankfully, it's more
01:45brachial plexus and peripheral nerve. It's not a neck issue,
01:48but it's a nerve issue like a lot of nerve issues once they
01:51don't go away very quickly, they linger a little bit. That's
01:55what happened to Elton Jenkins.
