00:00We will now take an update on the National Peace Rally of the Church Of Christ in the Kirino Grandstand.

00:05Raffy Tima is live in Kirino Grandstand.

00:11Email, more than an hour after the program,

00:14the members of the Church Of Christ who came here to the Kirino Grandstand

00:17dispersed peacefully.

00:19In a message of peace and unity, the National Rally for Peace was launched.

00:25In the program, the officials of the INC pointed out the importance of unity for the country.

00:31They also reminded those in the position of power

00:35to serve for the well-being of the people and not for their own interests.

00:40Unity should be there for the country to be strong and to stop violence in politics.

00:48Our brethren really came here.

00:52No matter how they came here,

00:54whether they brought their own vehicles,

00:57if they accompanied each other,

00:59if they parked their vehicles so that they can go together.

01:02The issue is not how they arrived,

01:04the issue is why they went.

01:06That is the most important thing.

01:08Why did our brethren go,

01:10plus those who are not members of the Church Of Christ?

01:13There is only one call.

01:15The call is

01:18It is time to remind everyone

01:21how important it is for us to be united,

01:24how important it is for us to have peace.

01:27There are many more serious problems for our country.

01:32If we do not unite,

01:35if there is no peace,

01:36those serious problems will not be solved.

01:40Peace Rally for Peace

01:44As promised, until 6 o'clock in the evening,

01:47the Peace Rally of the INC quickly dispersed those who came to the Quirino Grandstand.

01:51They brought placards of support for peace.

01:54Those who came to the Quirino Grandstand came out quickly and peacefully,

01:57in front of the Quirino.

01:59The National Rally for Peace was organized by the INC as a support

02:02in the statement of President Bongbong Marcos

02:04that he did not agree with the impeachment

02:06that is being challenged by Vice President Sara Duterte.

02:09In one message, VP Sara expressed her gratitude.

02:15This is a powerful demonstration of unity and faith

02:21that the only desire is peace towards the prosperity of our country.

02:27I thank our brethren in the Church Of Christ

02:32for your continued efforts to bring understanding and unity to our countrymen.

02:40In the midst of rising prices of goods, poverty, and other problems,

02:46a peaceful and united Philippines

02:50will never fall and will rise again and again in the midst of the challenges of time.

03:02For now, Emil, all roads that were closed earlier are now open,

03:05particularly the part of Padre Burgos Avenue and Ross Boulevard in front of Luneta.
