00:00I'm the Artistic Director of Imagine Theatre, the company that produces the show.
00:05And it has come to our notice in the past couple of weeks, there's something of a significant anniversary
00:11going on this year, during the run of Beauty and the Beastie.
00:14An anniversary that we thought we had to celebrate.
00:17And that is that one of these fabulous cast members, and aren't they fabulous?
00:22One of them is celebrating their 20th pantomime here at the fabulous Pavilion.
00:34Who's that?
00:37And that person...
00:46Hello!
00:49Hello.
00:52You're obviously a lot older than you look, and you've done 20 pantos.
00:57And can you remember what your first panto hero was?
01:01Yes, I can. It was Jack and the Beast Dog.
01:05Jack and the Beast Dog. Isn't that ironic? It's coming back next year, and you're not going to be around.
01:16We couldn't let it pass, this incredible feat of performing in 20 pantomimes here at the Pavilion.
01:25We've got someone special to come and make a wee presentation to you.
01:30So on you come, folks.
01:33It's Stephen Spafford!
02:03One day, Jimmy Thompson meets an ex, you can be Meghan Tone, this one.
02:13Stevie, it's a pleasure working with you every year.
02:16A huge moment. Be very proud.
02:19We're very grateful that you've shared your talent with us here at the Pavilion.
02:23Ladies and gentlemen, it's the Stephen Spafford!
02:33Thank you, thank you.
02:40Here we are at the Pavilion audience tonight.
02:42Please go and tell all your friends and family and everyone you know that you've seen beauty in the beastly.
02:46We're only here for two more days. We've got four more shows, two tomorrow.
