00:00You've loaned Yepi and Leighton out, the two players that just needed game time.
00:04Game time, Leighton got an opportunity literally as we came in and it didn't happen for him for different reasons.
00:13And you know what, we, myself and Leighton had a lot of conversations about that and he knuckled down,
00:19tried to get in our team, but he understands the importance of going and playing first-team football and building a career.
00:24And he's that age now where that's really important.
00:27So, yes, 100 per cent the right thing for him and us, and probably similar to Yepi.
00:33Come in and seeing a change of manager literally instantly, straight away, I don't know if that's knocked his approach and how he's been.
00:39And again, we had lots of conversations about what he needed to do to get in the team, how we would approach it this window.
00:47But he wanted to be in our team, do you know what I mean?
00:50He was never asking to leave, never unhappy, just wanted more game time and tried his best to get in our team.
00:59But we did have something set up for him with a previous manager of his, which he thinks is good for him.
01:06So it's good for us.
01:07If he's getting minutes there, then we can keep that value in him and when it comes to the summer and he's played another 20, 30 games, then that'll be ideal for us as well.
01:15Do you think he could be a part of this with you moving forward, because he's reported price tag naturally brings a bit more attention on him?
01:22Yes, definitely.
01:22It's always tough to move and adjust, different style of football, different country.
01:29And like I said, I think for him as well, he literally signed and the manager's gone who signed him and someone else coming in.
01:34Does this man want me?
01:35But all these things.
01:36So, yes, he's had a real difficult start, but a really good guy, not a moment's bother.
01:44Really popular in the dressing room.
01:46So, yes, we'd love him to do really well there.
01:51I think one good thing about him going there as well is the manager who played a certain system with him in the team wants him and wants him to perform that exact same way.
01:59So, if he's going to get the best chance to be successful, he should be with this long.
02:04Because he only moved to Holland in January, then he played five games, then he's come to England.
02:08It's been a whirlwind 12 months.
02:09Whirlwind, yes.
02:10So he did very well before.
02:11Went to Holland in and out, he would have probably preferred a more successful season.
02:17So he's gotten over here.
02:18So, yes, it's a tough industry and a tough sport and mentioned before about dealing with adversity and stuff.
02:24So he's had a lot of things thrown at him all in one go there.
02:27So, yes, I think a bit of familiarity for him will do him the world of good and hopefully us.
