00:00The situation is such that there are no proper toilets in the Anganwadi centres,
00:10drinking water has not reached the Anganwadi centres.
00:14To get drinking water, we identified 300 such Anganwadi centres
00:22for which we are going to release 35 lakh rupees.
00:26Apart from this, 2100 new toilets,
00:32child-friendly toilets are being made in the Anganwadi centres.
00:36For that also, the Punjab government is going to release approximately 7 crore rupees.
00:43Not only here, in the Anganwadi centres,
00:50furniture is also being provided.
00:54Most of our children are still sitting on the river banks.
01:00So, we are going to provide furniture in every Anganwadi centre.
01:05Very soon, we are going to give 21 crore rupees to the Anganwadi centres.
01:10So, with the contribution of 10,000 per centre,
01:14the furniture and infrastructure that is needed will be provided in the coming months.
01:19Apart from this, we have completed the Anganwadi centres,
01:26where there is a proper kitchen,
01:28there are no toilets,
01:30and we are talking about basic things.
01:33We are doing bala painting.
01:35I have said this before,
01:38that we are not going to teach the children through books or by scolding them.
01:43We are going to create an environment where the children can learn by watching and playing.
01:50So, after completing everything,
01:53we are going to give 1 lakh rupees to the Anganwadi centres,
01:56which are considered to be the aspiration districts of Muga and Ferozpur.
02:06In those centres, we are going to install LED, which we can also call a TV,
02:12and we are going to install RO.
02:15Apart from this, the remaining money,
02:18without LED and RO,
02:21we are going to install other infrastructure,
02:24like learning kits, CCTV cameras,
02:27or something else that the children need.
02:29We can use it for that as well.
02:31So, the concept behind this is that
02:34our children should get learning material in a good environment,
02:40in such a way that the children can learn by playing and studying.
02:44Because before this,
02:46as we were saying,
02:48we are going to accept the play-away centres to a certain level,
02:53that how much space is there,
02:55how much space is there to play.
02:57Similarly, we are going to accept the Anganwadi centres.
02:59There is a toilet, a kitchen,
03:01there are paintings on the shoulders,
03:05which the children can learn by looking at them.
03:07To play there,
03:09we are also distributing nutrition,
03:11in such a garden,
03:13where plants and fruits can be planted,
03:16so that the children can learn by looking at them.
03:18And for nutrition,
03:19we have informed our pregnant and lactating mothers.
03:24So, basically,
03:26in total,
03:28the Punjab government has spent around Rs. 200 crores
03:32to upgrade the Anganwadi centres in the coming days.
03:37Our officers are also sitting here.
03:41I will ask them to explain a little bit through the PPT
03:45as to what we are going to do.
03:56Thank you, ma'am.
