00:00And a number of countries decided to roll out an India-Middle East-Indo-Pacific partnership.
00:29India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor.
00:33So what is your perspective about the IMEG initiative?
00:36And overall, how do you see India as an emerging economic powerhouse?
00:59to really achieve your economic growth.
01:04Not only the growth of the middle sector has grown,
01:09the growth in your digital transformation,
01:13even in many aspects, in science, technology.
01:18So we really congratulate you for what you have achieved
01:22and we wish the people, the government of India, all the best.
01:25In terms of the agreements, you have asked a number of questions.
01:31Try to be as brief and focused as possible.
01:35The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement is still under negotiation.
01:40We've had several rounds and we're having one round coming up.
01:44And then we see how it progresses, Inshallah.
01:48So things are still progressing.
01:50Number two, in terms of the G20, yes, we were invited
01:54and we are very appreciative to the government of India
01:57for inviting the Sultanate of Oman to be a guest country
02:01attending all the G20.
02:03And honestly, the Sultanate of Oman, through the Ministry of Commerce,
02:06we actually made sure through us and the other government agencies
02:10to attend all the meetings and to actually participate actively.
02:15And what you have been able to achieve in that G20
02:18has been significant.
02:20And really, we think that, especially when it comes to
02:30the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement
02:33was actually discussed several times during at least my visits
02:38during the G20.
02:40In terms of the corridor, of course, with the geopolitics,
02:45any sort of project that can ease business and trade
02:51is always welcome and we have to see how it progresses.
02:55But at the moment, shipping and logistics is an essential element
03:01of connecting and connectivity and also has impact
03:04on the cost of doing business.
03:06So that's always welcome.
03:08In terms of your question about how the joint statement
03:12is progressing, we're actually having a joint commission meeting
03:19in this month, January, inshallah, if things go as planned.
03:23And this will be one of the items on the agenda
03:26is to discuss the progress on various aspects.
03:30But I can let you know that there's a lot of interest
03:34from Indian investors in Oman and we've had several,
03:37I would say, larger investors having interest in Oman
03:45and they're already planning for the future.
03:48They're already seeing the opportunity of, okay,
03:51if this CEPA really takes place and it's going to be,
03:54they're not waiting for it to happen.
03:56They're very shrewd and they're already planning,
03:58okay, let's assume there, how can I invest?
04:01And that's why, I don't know if you have the numbers, Nasser,
04:03but India is one of the top three, four countries
04:08that are actually interested in Oman.
04:10Exactly, yes.
04:12So we do have many investments now invested in Oman.
04:16There are more than, I would say, 3 billion U.S. dollars
04:19once it comes to the investment so far for the last,
04:23I would say, eight months.
04:25And there are many in the pipeline that are waiting
04:28for basically the agreements with the national negotiation team
04:30and then basically they will be in the operation phase.
04:34So the last two questions with 12, Japanese insights.
