00:00Zendaya slayed the Golden Globes red carpet this weekend, but it's not the dress that
00:10got us talking.
00:11It's that ring on that finger.
00:12I'm calling in reinforcements for this one.
00:15Hey Mako.
00:17Hey Brittany.
00:19Okay after much speculation, we can confirm she's engaged.
00:23That's right.
00:24Our girl Zendaya is engaged.
00:25She soft launched that rock at the Golden Globes.
00:27A source confirms to People that Tom Holland proposed over the holidays, they've been celebrating
00:31with family and friends, and she was even seen flashing that rock that she was wearing
00:35at the Golden Globes at another event.
00:37So excited for them.
00:38Do we have a date yet?
00:39Well, no, not yet.
00:40I know we're all dying to see Zendaya in a wedding dress.
00:43Like I already have like a vision board for what she's going to look like, but they've
00:46been together since 2021 and they're just really enjoying this moment right now.
00:50They're busy working, so they're just kind of like celebrating.
00:53We're going to have to like just be waiting at the edge of our seats.
00:55Fair enough.
00:56Let's talk about that rock though.
00:58Can you tell me about it?
01:01I do know about that rock.
01:03So it's a gorgeous five carat ring and it goes east to west, the diamond, which means
01:07it goes across the finger.
01:08It's set on a beautiful gold band.
01:10We think it's designer Jessica McCormack, who's a really beloved designer in the industry.
01:14Shine bright like a diamond.
01:16But I gotta say, do we know the price because it looks like it costs a big bag.
01:21You know, we don't.
01:22It says price upon request on the website and we know what that means.
01:26Yes!
01:27Cha-ching!
01:28Some fans did some sleuthing and noticed that Zendaya liked a photo of the ring on
01:31Instagram back in 2022.
01:34So our girl's been leaving breadcrumbs all along and I love that she told Kind of Tom
01:37what she wanted and what she liked.
01:39Listen, I can't stop staring at the photos.
01:41I'm so thrilled for the both of them.
01:43Thank you for the info, Brittany.
01:44I'll talk to you later.
01:45Thanks, Mako!
01:46There were lots of other style wins at the Globes too, including Jeremy Strong.
01:51I'm now the bucket hat, but stay with me.
01:54Greens and blues were totally trending that night and he got the attention of his Armageddon
01:58Time co-star Anne Hathaway, who drew the perfect Princess Diaries parallel.
02:03We love a throwback and apparently so does she.
02:08And Demi Moore's win was a full-on family affair.
02:11Her daughter, Scott Willis, shared what happened when they heard the results in real time.
02:20The gang hopped on FaceTime to congratulate Demi post-awards and then met up with their
02:25mama to celebrate in person.
02:27Her eldest rumor ended the night writing this,
02:29Mama, you are a goddess starting a revolution.
02:32It's a Golden Globe glow up for the whole Moore-Willis clan.
02:38Common Pharoah won too for his role in the Max Minis series, The Penguin, and he used
02:42his acceptance speech to thank Hollywood's unsung heroes, craft services, more specifically
02:48Karolina from craft services, who made sure Colin was hydrated with coconut water every
02:53half hour and in his words, kept the whole crew going.
02:57Just days later, Assistants vs. Agents caught up with Karolina, who said she screamed, cried,
03:02and jumped for joy to be thanked by name.
03:04She even called it a dream come true before leaving us with this, never, ever stop working
03:09with passion and love because at the end, everything will taste delicious.
03:15And then there was Kylie Jenner.
03:16While the cameras were focused on the awards, she was leaning in for a sneaky smooch from
03:21Timothee Chalamet, who she's been dating since 2023.
03:24They were cozy at their table all night, laughing and chatting, and even snapping selfies with
03:29their famous friends.
03:31Golden Globes more like golden couple goals, hey yo!
03:36And speaking of PDA, are Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster a thing?
03:40Well, they were seen together hand in hand this week as they grabbed dinner in Santa
03:44Monica.
03:45Sounds like a date night to me.
03:47Now they co-starred in Music Man when that revival hit Broadway a few years back.
03:51And they're both fresh off splits from lengthy marriages, so love may be in the air.
03:57And Andy Cohen is weighing in on the split that rocked Bravo over the holidays.
04:01He thinks Paige and Craig's success added pressure to their relationship.
04:05There have been a few events that she hasn't, you know, she's just so busy.
04:10And I just think the more and more that stuff starts to happen, you know, you worry that
04:17it causes a strain or whatever.
04:19Honestly?
04:20Agreed.
04:21They're household names at this point.
04:23Even Jon Hamm is in mourning over this.
04:25I gotta pour one out for Craig and Paige.
04:27My goodness, end of an era.
04:29Recently, Craig addressed the split on Instagram.
04:32I am still processing everything, which is normal.
04:36I mean, three-year relationship, it's your best friend who you talk to all day, every
04:41day, and then they're just gone.
04:43Which came after Paige dropped the news on her podcast.
04:46No one did anything.
04:47It wasn't like a bad thing.
04:49I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn't want.
04:54Sometimes even the brightest stars burn out.
04:59In our People cover story this week, Allison Holker is opening up about the death of Steven
05:03Twitch Boss and the demons her husband faced.
05:06She says everything was blissful when they celebrated their 9th anniversary in 2022,
05:10just three days before he died by suicide.
05:13There were no signs at that moment for me.
05:16I didn't know.
05:17Looking back now, she realizes how tough it must have been for him.
05:21He was going through so much and he was hiding so much and there must have been a lot of
05:26shame in that and he was wrestling with a lot inside himself.
05:30I wish in that part of my life with him that he would have felt comfortable asking for
05:35help, wanting to go to therapy, wanting to talk to his friends or loved ones.
05:42She since started intense therapy with their kids and she's sharing their story to help
05:46others find their light again.
05:50And Meghan Markle is dealing with the loss of her own, her beloved Beagle guy.
05:54She says she's cried too many tears to count, so relatable to anyone who's lost a pet and
05:59she's grateful for almost a decade of his unconditional love.
06:02She adopted him from a Canadian rescue in 2015 and he was with her through it all, falling
06:07in love, getting married, moving to California and becoming a mom.
06:12Rest in peace.
06:13And before we move on, we're sending our thoughts to everyone in Southern California as those
06:18wildfires continue to rage, including Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Adam Brody and Leighton
06:24Meester and Anna Faris, whose homes were all destroyed.
06:27Stay safe, y'all.
06:30Now it's the sit down with Troian Bellisario.
06:32Hi Troian!
06:34Your new show, On Call, is streaming on Prime now.
06:37I work, take care of my dogs if I'm lucky, I surf.
06:41Partly from the minds of Dick Wolf, who of course we know from Law & Order, and his son
06:45Elliot.
06:46Your dad is prolific in the industry too.
06:49Had you ever met any of the Wolf fam before this project?
06:52This was the craziest thing.
06:53When I first met Elliot, there was this, obviously we didn't talk about it because it was like
06:56the chemistry read, but afterwards when I'd gotten the role, I was like, okay, can we
07:00talk about your experience as a kid and my experience as a kid?
07:02Can we talk about your dad and my dad?
07:04And we just found so many crazy overlaps.
07:08And we both had this desire to honor our father's legacy while also offering something new.
07:18How'd you do at the Academy?
07:19Second in the class.
07:20Out of how many?
07:21Three.
07:22The show is thrilling, intense, and gives a look into what it means to serve our community
07:29as a badge holder.
07:30What in particular drew you to this role?
07:32I just felt like it was such an incredible, you know, such an incredible opportunity for
07:36me to get to come back to a job after I had really mostly only played very young women,
07:44you know, like I had played people in high school.
07:47Then when I got off of Pretty Little Liars, when I got married, when I became a mother,
07:52when I entered my thirties, I was like, wait, who am I and what do I have to bring to a
07:56character now?
07:58You know, look, there have been how many police dramas and they've been done extremely well.
08:04What does policing look like with body cams?
08:07What does it look like with cell phone footage?
08:09And I love that the show was asking all of those questions.
08:13Given the current climate, it can be kind of tough to portray someone in uniform.
08:16How did you approach that to get the story just right?
08:20Policing law enforcement, it's not something that people have like lukewarm takes on.
08:26You know what I mean?
08:27Truly, this show really, really does such a good job at not having a message, at really
08:34trying to invite everybody to the table and say, you take away what you want to take away
08:39from this.
08:41We're not going to prescribe it.
08:42We're not going to tell you that these are the heroes or, you know, we're not going to
08:44tell you that you need to feel this way.
08:47We want to just honor the community of Long Beach and we want to honor the community of
08:52Long Beach police officers that serves that and really examine that sort of give and take
08:57and that relationship and how complicated it can be.
09:01We loved you as Spencer on Pretty Little Liars.
09:04So while I was watching this, I couldn't help but wonder if Tracy Harmon was patrolling
09:08around Rosewood, how would that show have been different?
09:11Would the mystery have been solved in like two episodes?
09:13Ew.
09:14I was about to say zero, but I was like, no, no, no, the crime has to happen.
09:18But like, yeah, it would literally be like one.
09:20You know what I mean?
09:21Like, because if somebody actually had called the police, like she would have shut it down
09:26so fast.
09:28You're all going to jail, confiscate all your cell phones.
09:31Nobody can text you because I have your cell phones and I'm talking to all of your parents
09:36and you're going to stop lying right now.
09:38End of show.
09:39Have fun.
09:40Have a normal high school experience.
09:41You're welcome.
09:42Now, how difficult is it to come back to yourself, Troyan, after a long day of shooting?
09:47Were you like a watch your back rookie to your husband, Patrick, if he got in your way?
09:51Normally you get home from set and you need like hours to be like, I got to come down
09:56from running around in the rain and screaming and all of this stuff.
09:59And so it was really wonderful that the time I got home, I felt so ready to, to be back
10:06with my family.
10:07By the time I got home, if the girls were awake, you know, they, they didn't care if
10:12I just worked a long day or if I just run around or gotten like, you know, had a fight
10:17scene or rolled around in the sand or I was freezing, they were just like, Hey, here's
10:21a book.
10:22You know, like draw me a bath.
10:23Where's my dinner?
10:24Like, I was just like, you have no idea what I've just done.
10:26So it was, it was a really good like reality check to just be like, okay, go be a mom.
10:31Every time I FaceTimed them, my girls would be like, why are you dressed like a police
10:34officer?
10:35And Patrick was like, she's working and they're like, weird.
10:38Okay.
10:39Anyways, mom.
10:40And so, yeah, it was very funny.
10:41Finally, I'm going to put 10 seconds on the clock.
10:44Tell everyone why they should check out On Call.
10:46Ready?
10:47Go.
10:48I think you should watch On Call because it's a gripping show that's going to suck you in.
10:52I think people who maybe don't even think they're fans of cop shows should come and
10:57check it out because I think it's really different.
11:01Troy and thank you so much for joining us.
