00:00Comelec has already announced the areas of concern for the upcoming elections in May.

00:18Three days before the start of the election period,

00:21the Commission on Elections visited the National Election Monitoring Action Center or NEMAC in Camp Kramie.

00:28Here, the situation will be monitored in different parts of the country,

00:32even in voting centers using the latest technology.

00:37Here, Comelec announced the areas of concern for the upcoming elections.

00:41Based on the recommendation of the PNP and AFP,

00:44the areas in the country will be divided into four color categories based on the security situation there.

00:50The Green category is those without security concerns or relatively peaceful.

00:54More than 1,200 places are included here.

00:58Many are in the Calabar Zone.

01:00The Yellow category is in the 188th place.

01:04Most are in the regions of Zamboanga Peninsula and Northern Mindanao.

01:08As for the conditions,

01:10if there are any alleged election-related incidents in the past two election periods,

01:16or if there is an intense partisan political rivalry.

01:20There are 177 areas in the Orange category.

01:24The majority are still in BARM.

01:28if there is a serious threat from armed groups,

01:32The Red category is the most monitored by the authorities
