00:00We heard from the lawmaker who represents Greenland in the Danish parliament saying it's
00:05unbelievable some people can be so naive as to believe that our happiness lies in us becoming
00:11American citizens. Kuno, do you want to become an American citizen?
00:14No, but I will say that the way of communicating that is disinformation. It's trying to create
00:22tensions between allies and friends. So, I would just say that, of course,
00:30we don't want to become citizens of other states. We are already citizens of Denmark that annexed
00:37us in 1953, and we don't want to have that. We want our own citizenship here in Greenland. That's
00:43why we want to become a sovereign state, but we are absolutely willing to cooperate in a compact
00:48of free association or any other means of democratic ways.
