Bloom Cafe, in Emsworth, is a fabulous example of a fun and quirky food venue in the Hampshire area. Decorated from top to bottom with flowers, the cafe offers a wonderful range of cakes, pancakes and more as well as flowers in the Bloom florist next door.

00:24Amazing and what is Blooms Café? Blooms is a floral themed cafe tea room. We have two gorgeous
00:33rooms here all decorated beautifully in a very Blooms style. It's very pink, we do attract the
00:38ladies but we've also got the gents here as well that come in for the bus. We offer all sorts of
00:44lovely breakfast items and lunch items. Our afternoon teas are hugely popular, we've just
00:49launched our winter tea and it's got lots of lovely seasonal flavours and we're taking bookings
00:55for that until March. Also the kids love it here because we've got milkshakes, the waffles,
01:01pancakes, those kind of things. So we've really got something for everyone, we try and keep it nice and broad.
01:08Blooms started when I had a bit of a career changing lockdown. I used to be in marketing and I
01:13wasn't seeing my kids because I was travelling so much, so I did a bit of floristry courses, a little bit
01:18of work experience and then I set up making flowers and delivering them locally in lockdown.
01:24We then got the opportunity to put a little shed here and it's just grown from there. We started
01:28selling coffee and cake and here we are three and a half years later with a full tea room
01:33and 20 staff. Amazing and what's one of the most popular things on the menu? The cakes are hugely
01:40popular, we make everything here ourselves. We've got a full-time baker so the cakes are really
01:45popular, the pancakes, so the afternoon tea and the toasties as well, they're really popular this time of year.
