The unveiling of a new star object, Techno Trousers, specially created by Aardman in the museum’s foyer.
The one of a kind model is a 2m tall replica of the Techno Trousers first seen in The Wrong Trousers, along with Feathers McGraw, making a playful reference to the plot of the film, and will be seen ‘climbing’ the museum’s wall above the welcome desk.
As it will be suspended from the museum wall, there will also be a chance to photograph it from different angles from the museum’s internal balconies. The museum will be reopening to the public on 8 Jan following a £6m transformation, and the new star model will be the new focal point of the museum’s revamped foyer space.
