00:00You had enough chances to score tonight, but do you think that was a fair result overall?
00:05If you look at what both teams produced and the domination of the game,
00:10obviously it's not the result that reflects the story of the game,
00:14but the reality is that they were super efficient with the chance that they had,
00:18and we weren't. And at this level, in these kind of scenarios,
00:22you need that to impose yourself and win the game.
00:26How do you feel about the tie?
00:30That is just half-time. When I see the team playing and how we
00:34deal with a lot of situations and playing against a very good team,
00:38I must say I have full belief that we can go out there and do it.
00:42Is there a danger of a kill that you're just running out of energy?
00:46There's many chances and shots you had tonight,
00:50but it seems you've played a lot of games.
00:54If we lose the game or draw the game, it's going to be down to that.
00:58If we win it and today we score three that we should have scored easily three goals,
01:02the story would have been different and it's incredible and they are tireless
01:06and how they try every single action. But I don't even want to talk about that.
01:10We have so many games coming up, big ones, and the team really wants it.
01:14Do you look back upon anything with regret?
01:18Yeah, well, the two goals that we gave away after the one-two deflections
01:22in the first one, the ball arrives there. It's preventable, but they generate
01:26that chaos. They are good at that. And the second one as well,
01:30in particular the first-second reception in the box. The ball can only
01:34get there to score the goal, but it gets there, so we can do better.
01:38I know this seems like an easy answer to everything that's going on,
01:42but when you look at the injuries you've had, the games where the chances just haven't gone in,
01:46does this just feel like a year where luck has deserted you?
01:50No, because, well, comparing to last season,
01:54we are in the same position, we were knocked out of the Carabao Cup, so we are in a better position
01:58considering everything that happened. I don't want to really
02:02use that as any excuse, because the team still performs and competes
02:06with the best teams. We are one of the best teams in form right now
02:10and we produce much better things. So, no time to talk about that.
02:14Tom, Football London.
02:18Are you confident the squad will be in a much stronger
02:22place by February?
02:26Hopefully, yes. We will have more players back and we will have more options to do that
02:30and the freshness that we are going to need in that period.
02:34We will play some important games, so I hope so.
02:38You created so much tonight.
02:42How wary do you have to be that these missed chances don't become
02:46a psychological issue for the team?
02:50Nothing. Try to improve. There are things that we could have done better.
02:54We were unlucky in moments. You need a certain luck for the ball to bounce there.
02:58You need that intuition as well. If not, we are going to have to generate more.
03:02That's the thing that we can do and then the probability will be higher for us to win.
03:06But certainly against this team to produce what we have produced
03:10and looking back at the last six games that I watched, I haven't seen it.
03:14It's 0-2, unfortunately.
03:18In terms of putting the missed chances out of their minds, what can you do to help them?
03:22Nothing. Just try and show them, give them tips
03:26of what we can do better. I think we kicked a lot of the balls over the bar
03:30and it's tricky that this ball flies a lot and we discussed that as well.
03:34We can do better, but at the end that's gone.
03:38This is no way back. It's about the next game and that's
03:42our world. The reality is our world.
03:46There was a strange feeling in the stadium tonight, especially towards the end.
03:50A lot of fans were leaving with eight or seven minutes to go.
03:54Do you hope that isn't seeping into the players and maybe even the fans
03:58losing belief that you can...
04:02That's their decision. We try our best and it's their decision to stay right behind the team or leave.
04:06I think I repeated a thousand times how important they are
04:10and how critical it is to maintain that level of
04:14energy and belief in the stadium to generate big moments at the end
04:18because we could have and because we were very close to scoring the 2-1.
04:22We would have needed that, but if that was the case, that's not good.
04:26We spoke about missed chances and how efficient you kept them.
04:30It was not the first time you created chances and not just not taken them.
04:34Do you think your players have got that killer instinct?
04:38We're always going to discuss that when we don't score a goal
04:42because when we score five against Newcastle or against
04:46Palace or three the next game or whatever, we're not going to discuss that.
04:50I understand and try to help the players as much as we can.
04:54How good was Alexander Isak tonight?
05:06The ball arrives to him. I don't think he created
05:10or had any big chances. He was involved in both goals.
05:14That's what you have when you have the real quality
05:18up front and they can make a difference. They're very clinical.
05:24You're not the first manager to mention the ball in this competition.
05:28I know it's not an excuse, but what is the issue with it?
05:32It's just very different to a Premier League ball and you have to adapt to that
05:36because it flies different. When you touch it, the grip is very different as well.
05:40You have to adapt to that.
