00:00We start at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where Newcastle were looking for yet another win.
00:05Tottenham Hotspur 1, Newcastle United 2.
00:09Big win, Liam. Six wins in a row. Two on the road this week.
00:14Eddie Howe's side are flying, aren't they?
00:16Yeah, they are. They really are.
00:17And I don't think anybody could have predicted where they were a month and a half or so ago to where they'd be now.
00:22And I'm all for it. It's been a really positive month.
00:26You've had Alan Zadar, Isak, just scoring for fun.
00:29Jacob Murphy's assists. Anthony Gordon, full of confidence.
00:33Joe Linton busting around. Bruno getting involved.
00:37Tonali releasing him and putting in amazing performances.
00:40Lewis Hall, Dan Byrne. How good's Dan Byrne been?
00:43Incredible.
00:45Sven Botman's return today.
00:47Tino DiRomento putting in one of his best performances in a long time.
00:50Yeah, I thought so.
00:51And Martin De Branca just cruising through games.
00:53So, look, it was a really positive day.
00:55Look, I think it took a lot out of them.
00:57It wasn't an easy on-the-eye performance.
01:00They gave a good half hour maybe in the first half.
01:02The rest was a bit patchy.
01:04It wasn't great, but they hung on in there, got the result, which is all that matters.
01:08Next to the Stadium of Light, where Sunderland welcomed Championship strugglers Portsmouth.
01:14I think Sunderland were obviously short of their best.
01:19It was quite an odd game.
01:21Actually, the open exchanges of the game, I couldn't really believe what I was seeing.
01:24I think we'd all been really impressed and really pleased with how effective the 4-4-2 had been against Sheffield United.
01:29How dangerous Isidore Meander had been in attacking the space and behind Sheffield United's defence.
01:34I think we thought this game was going to look completely different.
01:37That Portsmouth might try and shut down that space for Isidore Meander.
01:40Maybe defend with a little bit of a low block.
01:43Actually, they were super aggressive pretty much from the start.
01:47At times when their goalkeeper was taking goal kicks and set plays, they had pretty much five plays up on Sunderland's front line.
01:52Obviously, it cost them in the seventh minute when Sunderland nicked the ball back.
01:56Again, we saw that combination up front work really well.
01:59Meander with a lovely pass to Isidore and a fantastic finish from Isidore.
02:02Finally, to the Riverside, where Middlesbrough were looking to continue their recent good form against another team struggling, Cardiff City.
02:11And it proved to be a frustrating day for Middlesbrough at the Riverside.
02:161-1 they drew against Cardiff City.
02:19They did take the lead early on though.
02:21Emmanuel Laté-Lath getting on the score sheet once again.
02:24Thanks to good work down the right-hand side from Ben Duke, taking on his man and then delivering a great cross into the middle of the box,
02:31which Laté-Lath had no problem turning into the back of the net.
02:34And you thought from that point, Middlesbrough would go on to comfortably win against a struggling Cardiff City side.
02:39But no, just minutes later, Cardiff were on level terms.
02:43Callum Chambers, from just inside the box, rifled an effort into the top corner after Middlesbrough had failed to clear their lines following a Cardiff attack.
02:51And Middlesbrough were unable to go on to win the game.
02:54And that was how things ended. 1-1.
