"Larry surprised us when he climbed into our RC Maserati sports car," his owner, Alyssa Chang, 21, a UC Berkeley student from Glendale, California, said.
"He loved his joy ride so much that we had to share it with the world," she said, noting her partner was involved in the process.

"His video now has 2.7 million views on TikTok," Alyssa shared. "His account has grown so much that he now has his own TikTok shop, YouTube, and Instagram under @larrythehammie."
The decision to name the hamster Larry came from a love of comedy and an appreciation for the human-like antics of the tiny rodent.
