02:01But for the PCG, there used to be underwater drones used by China inside the EEZ of the Philippines.

02:22Military historian and defense analyst Jose Antonio Custodio

02:26believes that China is looking for a route to get their naval assets or submarines out of the Pacific Ocean.

02:33If there is a small gap, you will see that the Chinese are sending probes to map the area so that their submarines can enter.

02:43You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand that.

02:46The Philippine Navy has yet to respond to Custodio's statement.

02:49But a source of GMA Integrated News said that the drone found should not be left to chance based on the initial investigation.
