After the release of the first album Canadian country-folk rock band The Stampeders quickly became one of the most famous acts out of ther nation, and the same year they released their second album "Carryin' on". The band was coming off the win of the 1971 Juno award for the best single with the song "Sweet city woman" and they continued with their achievements on this follow up album.
