00:00Happy New Year, you guys, another good win at home.

00:04We're learning this conference, but it's pretty clear that there's a lot of

00:09NCAA tournament quality teams.

00:10We have to approach each game that way, since it's all new to us.

00:14And I thought we responded really well at halftime, and

00:17we're a lot better defensively, particularly in the second half.

00:20And it made a really good team struggle a little bit on that end,

00:23which led to some easy baskets.

00:24So we'll continue to grow from here, but it was a good first,

00:27I wanna say, weekend in a week, opening Big Ten week at home against some really

00:31good teams.

00:32Yeah, what can you say about the way I would like to go on?

00:37What can you say about the, I mean, you forced them into 18 turnovers,

00:40is specifically what your defense was doing, especially in the second half?

00:45Yeah, we know we can put a lot of pressure at the point of attack.

00:47I mean, Kennedy, I've said it many times before,

00:49is the best incoming freshman defender that we've had.

00:53I mean, obviously, that's not all she does, but from a physical and

00:56mental standpoint, she really understands and can mess people up quite a bit.

01:00And I think our team feeds off that.

01:02And I think our identity defensively is really taking shape,

01:06where we know when we can pressure, when we can make things difficult for people.

01:09And I talked in the locker room about how I thought Clarice really changed

01:14the complexion of the game with her defensive energy, and she finished buckets.

01:18And between Rhea and C together, when you have a top opposing post player,

01:23we feel like we can make their life more difficult than most teams can.

01:26And I thought we really bought into the defensive.
