00:00But I assure my viewers that the NDMC that is being run under the leadership of the Prime Minister will not be charged a single rupee extra for any of the viewers.
00:18We received a guideline from the Indian government in 2017 in which the NDMC should go on green power.
00:27We took that and wrote to the Delhi government that we should be deallocated from their two plants, Bawana and Pragati.
00:37You will be surprised to know that the price of electricity from Bawana is 30.26 rupees.
00:45This is a document that I have with me.
00:47They provide electricity at a rate of 30.26 rupees.
00:51And the electricity that we provide to our consumers is at a rate of 3 to 7 rupees.
01:02We wrote to the Delhi government many times to be deallocated.
01:06But the Delhi government did not listen to us.
01:11You will be surprised to know that even if we do not take electricity every month, we get an extra charge of 150 crores for one year.
01:22The Bawana plant charges 8 crores for one month and Pragati charges 3.86 crores for one month.
01:31We will see how to deal with this extra charge.
01:43But we will not charge our consumers a single rupee or a single paisa.
01:50Second, under the PM Suryagar Mukht Bijli Yojana, which is led by the world's most popular leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi,
02:00when people talk about increasing power prices, we talk about green energy and solar energy.
02:08In the coming days, NDMC, the chairman and other members of the council, will get a subsidy of 30,000 rupees for the 1 kilowatt scheme.
02:19We will also increase the subsidy.
02:24So, NDMC is preparing to provide free solar energy to the consumers.
02:32But because the Delhi government and all the people associated with it are worried about how things will increase,
02:41even after trying, because they have some power purchase agreements with them,
02:47we are not going to increase the fixed cost of a single rupee on our consumers.
02:53In addition to what our chairman said, the NDMC has also applied against the order in DRC that we are not implementing those orders.
03:11And NDMC has also gone on a review against that order.
03:18Because that order was declared on the 31st and we got that order yesterday.
03:23So, we are also going to apply for its detailed petition.
03:27So, I reaffirm my point in front of all of you that NDMC is not accepting the order of DRC.
03:35Against that order, we have applied again in DRC and we are going for a detailed petition.
03:42NDMC is not going to increase the extra charge of a single rupee on any of its consumers.
03:49But again, I would like to say to the Delhi government that when we talk about green energy and green power,
03:56you are talking about giving it to us in 30 rupees.
03:59And today, there are many places in Rajasthan where we can get electricity for 3.65 rupees per unit.
04:13So, we are also planning for that in the coming days.
04:17And we are also planning how to get rid of the extra cost of 150 crores that the Delhi government is imposing on us.
04:26Where they are giving us electricity for 30 rupees per unit, we are giving it for 3 to 7 rupees per unit.
04:31We are also planning how to increase that for the consumers.
